Maths Quiz 01 or 09 ?


Answer: 01

According to B.O.D.M.A.S first solve brackets and then do divide in this equation.
= 6 / 2 ( 1 + 2 ) = 6 / 2 ( 3 ) = 6 / 6 = 1

  1. The correct answer is 9. You forgot the fact that after solving the brackets, the order of operations specifies that the multiplication and division in done from left to right.

  4. u can imagine it as 6 is the numerator and 2(1+2) is the denominator. u cant seperate 2 and (1+2).

    we start with the brackets first (1+2)
    which definetly result to =3
    no off(b'o'dmas)
    we're left to division
    6/2=3
    we are now left multiplication
    3(3)
    our answer is=9
