    5 x 3 = 15
    15 + 9 = 26
    26 / 3 = 8.66666667

  2. Actually, its 8........ Cause after multiplication and division, you have 5-0+3, and 5-0=5+3 which = 8

  3. all those who are saying 8, go and read you elementary maths book. You should add first and then substract (DMAS)

    2. S!d it's you who needs to go and re read your elementary maths book, addition and subtraction have equal priority and are calculated from the left to the right, next time check your facts before pouring scorn on others, who as it turned out knew far more than you did.

  6. BEDMAS, you only need DMAS. Division and Multiplication can be done at the same time because they are basically the same thing, but reversed from one another. Same with Addition and Subtraction. They can be thought of as a triangle shape, multiplication would be the two on the bottom equal the on on the top, division would be the one on the top divided by one of the bottom, and would equal the other bottom. Hence, same thing.

    5 - 0 x 3 + 9 / 3 = (showing your equation)
    5 - (0 x 3) + (9 / 3) = (multiplication + division in one step)
    5 - 0 + 3 = (their answers)
    5 + 3 = (0 has no value, the "-" is only to 0)
    8 = (final answer)

  7. 8. Doesn't matter what you do first between adding or subtracting... Go from left to right following the order of operations. The answer provided is wrong.

  9. Do it this way...5-(0×3+9÷3)...you get 2.

    Do it this way...5-(0×3)+(9÷3)...you get 8.

    The think CORRECT way is the first one.
